ZYPE comes at web sites in a fairly straight-forward way: who are your users and want do they want from you. By identifying who you are providing content for it's easier to target that content and provide a better experience.

This approach is also valuable when designing the visual look as this can be targeted to match the personalities of the people using your site.

User Focused Design on the Web

Designing for the end user simply means designing a system that is focused on the goals of the user and allows them to achieve those goals in an effective way. Web users are after content and while the nature of the content changes the requirements are the same: quick, effective access to relevant content.

Designing around these requirements and the goals/requirements specific to your content a web site or application can be a very powerful tool.

Drupal

ZYPE has, for now settled on Drupal as the infrastructure of choice for building and maintaining web sites. We like the modular approach to adding functionality, the simple set up of themes for adding visual styles and the ability for us to set up simple content management tools for our customers. We want you to update your own content but we will help along the way.

To support our use of Drupal, ZYPE has formed a reseller relationship with Egressive Limited , a local company we have worked with since around 2001. They also provide support with PHP related development in Drupal.
