    This resource is designed as an introduction to vector illustration and covers the fundamental skills used to produce vector graphics: shapes, fills, strokes, gradients, paths, and a few little tricks of the trade.

    The tutorial, creating a glassy icon, is intended as a quick-fire introduction that can be used as a standalone skill builder exercise or as part of a larger project. A few examples have been included with the aim to inspire students to experiment and produce their own graphics using the basic techniques.
